Privacy Policy

Small-n-Tall GmbH collects and processes personalized and non-personalized information to being able to provide it's services.

1. Protection of personal data

Personal data includes any information concerning the personal or factual circumstances of an identified or identifiable natural person or legal entity . Confidential personal data (ie, those not already in the public, are yet submitted for publication to us), such as name, address, telephone number, e- mail address or other personal information will be kept safe by us.
Personal data, that is published as agreed in a service we provide, is inherently subject to any confidentiality. Data that does not need to be published by law or according to contract shall be treated as confidential. A transfer of confidential data to third parties only applies if:
- Such is necessary for the implementation of agreed services (eg the transfer of invoice data to an external accounting office, the delivery address of a logistics company) or
- We are legally obliged to

We collect, process and use data in machine-readable format in order to provide our services or to improve our services to match user requirements and to prevent the illegal or improper use of our services and to take action against it.

2. Data Collection

Our services are located mainly on computer servers. Everyone who uses our services, agrees that data is collected and transmitted to our servers, and stored there.

We collect, process and use the following personal data:
- Name, address(es), communication address(es), contact(s), photo(s), contract data, usage data, and where required financial information
- Registration and login information

We collect and process the following additional non-personlalized information:
Statistics regarding data traffic to and from our services;
Other data such as standard Internet protocol data exclusively for
(i) statistical purposes,
(ii) error detection and correction,
(iii) improving the usability and value of our offers.

3. Data usage, Data transmission

We use and transmit personal information to: provide services according to what we promise; enforce our terms and conditions; comply with legal or regulatory obligations, to defend ourselves against claims arising from legal violations, and also to inform users about enhancements or new features.

4. Log files

We reserve the right to record and store usage log files for
(i) statistical purposes,
(ii) error detection and correction,
(iii) improving the value and usability of our services

5. Data Security

We have taken technical and organizational measures to ensure that our data processing system is protected from unauthorized access. However, it must be remembered that data transmission over the Internet can never be absolutely safe and cannot exclude the possibility that, for example, third parties without authorization gain knowledge of the transmitted data.

6. Data usage by users

Personalized data that is published on a website or mobile app from us (such as testimonials) may only be used for the designated purposes. Commercial use of such data or unsolicited advertising (spam) is expressly prohibited.

7. Cookies

A cookie is a collection of data that a website sends the user's browser, to be saved on the user's computer as a file. Most of our services use cookies. You always have the opportunity to decide for yourself whether to allow cookies on your computer or not. To do this, use the settings of your web browser. However, be aware that the restriction or blocking of cookies, can eventually lead to functional restrictions or error messages.

8. Web analytics

In order to enhance our services and adapt to the changing habits and technical requirements of our users, we use so-called web analytics tools. We are interested, for example, which features are used most by our users, whether the information sought can be easily found, etc.

9. Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies", text files that are stored on your computer, to help analyze how users use our websites or apps. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this web service (including your IP address) is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activity for website operators and provide other related services. Google may also transfer this information to third parties unless required by law or where such third parties process the information on Google's behalf. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser. However, you may not be able to use all functions of these services fully in this case. By using this service you consent to the processing of data about you by Google in the manner described above and for the aforementioned purpose.

10. Further analytics tools

In addition to Google Analytics, we also use other analytics tools. For our Mobile Apps we use the service of Flurry Inc. (www.flurry.com). We occasionally use other analysis tools as well to evaluate the user behavior, and thus to make our services better. For example, for the evaluation of marketing campaigns we may use appropriate conversion tracking codes and remarketing tags.

11. Social Plugins from Facebook, Twitter, etc.

We use plugins which allow our users to share things on social networks or to use those social networks to register for our services. We use plugins from Facebook and Twitter, and regularly experiment with other social services to make our services better and easier to use.

12. Right to erasure

You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data where, for example, the personal data are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected, where you withdraw your consent to processing, where there is no overriding legitimate interest for us to continue to process your personal data, or your personal data has been unlawfully processed.  If you would like to request that your personal data is erased, please contact us using the contact details provided below.

13. Final provisions

By using our services you agree to our Privacy Policy and also our Terms of Service. We reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time and independently. Users can object to these changes within one month by no longer using our services and, where applicable, by deleting their account.

If any part of this Privacy Policy is invalid, the remaining parts always remain valid.

As long as this Privacy Policy doesn't provide otherwise, the provisions of the Swiss law, in particular the Swiss Code of Obligations ("Obligationenrecht") apply. The place of jurisdiction is Basel-Stadt (Switzerland).
